Status of Woman in Islam
This brochure forms a section of the author’s latest work entitled the Gifts of Islam which has been written for the Center of Islamic Studies St Cross College of the University of Oxford of which he was recently elected as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees.Women are the underpinnings of future generations and must be treated as such.
Islam, the mercy of Allah, is for all of mankind and makes no preference to sex. Men and women have a calling and a place in nature.
Neither has a greater value, nor is one of greater importance. Both are subject to Divine Retribution which is equal for the capacity of each.
