There are major issues which vex every thinking man and woman at sometime in life. One of these matters is the existence of God.

Another is the anguished question: why, if there is a God and He is merciful, is there so much suffering in the world, and why is peace so elusive?

This last question is particularly pertinent in this last decade of a century which seems to have

nothing but war and bloodshed.
